Today is Sam’s birthday, and I just wanted to take a moment to say how thankful I am for him.
He’s smart, supportive, funny, and genuinely the best husband. He’s the kind of person who shows up consistently, encourages me when I need it, and somehow manages to make even the busiest or most chaotic days feel a little lighter.
Bread by Blaze wouldn’t be what it is without him. He’s been there through every idea, every late night in the kitchen, every “I think I can make this work,” and every moment in between. A lot of what you see here exists because he believed in it first.
I don’t say that lightly.
He’s also the one who gets to hear all my baking thoughts in real time, which is probably more than anyone signs up for, but he handles it well.
I’m really grateful to get to do life with him, and even more grateful to celebrate him today.
